Eduardo joined the Foundation in August 2012 as the Executive Support & Board Relations Coordinator. In his role he provides support for the President, coordinates the Board of Directors and committee meetings, serves on the Foundation senior leadership team, oversees human resources, manages intern programs and support staff, and plans NWHF events.

Before joining NWHF, Eduardo was a SUN Community School Coordinator, where he managed over 40 culturally specific and not-for-profit community organizations at a local North Portland Middle School.

His family is originally from Baja California, Mexico, but he grew up in El Centro California as the youngest of three men. He is fluent in Spanish, a graduate of the University of Portland, and a 2010 graduate of the Portland Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Leadership Program Class V.

Eduardo is engaged in the community through his volunteer work as Co-Chair forJustPortland and the New Leaders Collective Membership Chair for City Club of Portland . He serves on several culturally specific and LGBTQ focused organizations and actively participates in district and state wide education focused collaboratives and steering committees.
