As the Foundation’s chief financial officer, Jason manages an investment portfolio of approximately $100 million, oversees accounting, fiscal and operations management.

Jason grew up in the small town of Jacksonville, Oregon and attended South Medford High School.  He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Montana. He retuned to Oregon, working for US Bancorp Securities then US Bank as a corporate credit analyst.  In 1999 he joined a locally owned, $50MM financial services company where he rose to the position of Chief Operating Officer, helped facilitate its sale to a publically traded company and was then part of a business acquisition team. 

In 2008 Jason joined Capital Pacific Bank as a Portfolio Manager and Client Relations Officer, rising to a Senior Vice President overseeing a team addressing troubled companies and bank-owned real estate.  He then championed strategic and new business initiatives including leadership and strategic support to Capital Pacific’s mission-related investment efforts.  Outside of his career, Jason co-founded a local non-profit focused on aiding orphanages that rescue children from the sex trade.  He enjoys volunteering at the Portland Rescue Mission, fly fishing, and sharing his love of Oregon’s natural beauty with his two young daughters.
