As Vice President of Strategy and Community Partnership, Suk leads staff efforts to align strategic thinking and programs for Foundation effectiveness and community impact.

Prior to joining the Foundation in 2005, Suk worked with a range of organizations seeking to increase the participation and influence of communities in the decisions that impact their lives. Some of Suk's most rewarding experiences were gained in her roles as program director for an operating foundation engaging young people in the political process, program coordinator for a statewide association of community health centers and organizer for a bi-national network of community, labor, native and student groups pursuing environmental and economic justice.

Suk received her master’s degree in whole systems design from Antioch University and bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College.

She serves on the board of directors for Asian American Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy and CareOregon and the leadership team for 100 Million Healthier Lives. She has previously served on the boards of Grantmakers of Oregon and Southwest Washington, McKenzie River Gathering Foundation and numerous community organizations. 

Suk grew up in North Carolina after immigrating to the United States.
