Advancing Disability Justice Grants 2025 - Applications Open

Northwest Health Foundation is excited to open a new cycle of Advancing Disability Justice Grants! These will be two-year grants to support work happening from fall 2025 to fall 2027.

Advancing Disability Justice Grants are meant to fund efforts in community building, civic engagement, community organizing, cultural work, leadership development, movement building and policy advocacy.

We have $170,000 total available in funding for this grant cycle, and we are offering two types of grants: General Support Grants ($20,000 to $50,000) and Project Grants ($10,000 to $15,000).

Accessibility

We want to acknowledge that philanthropy has not always been open and accessible to many communities, and many disabled, neurodivergent and d/Deaf BIPOC may face barriers to accessing grant funding.

We strive to make this application process as accessible as possible. If you need support to prepare and submit an application, we are here for you. We can offer support in many ways, including:

  • Application information in other languages or formats (not just in English or written text).

  • Different ways to reach us such as email, phone calls, or scheduled Zoom meetings.

  • Accessible virtual meetings to discuss and provide support, including closed captioning, ASL interpretation, or spoken language interpretation.

  • Alternatives to using our online application portal, including submitting your application by email, mail, or audio/video recording.

We know that everyone’s access needs are different. You might need something that’s not listed here, and that’s okay. We strongly encourage you to reach out if there’s anything else we can do to make this process work better for you.
