GENERATIONAL AND COMMUNITY VITALITY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: COMMUNITY PLANNING & ENGAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Deadline for Proposals: Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 3pm PST

Building on the success of past comprehensive plans, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (CTSI), in partnership with Northwest Health Foundation (NWHF) and Northwest Area Foundation (NWAF), seeks a consultant to help design a planning process to inform CTSI’s next comprehensive plan.

We are seeking consultants that have meaningful experience working with tribal governments and/or Native communities, with a focus on values-based strategic planning.

This project seeks to develop a planning process that will:

  • Inspire broad engagement;

  • Center tribal history, culture and values; and

  • Consider the underlying structures and conditions that shape the well-being of the Tribe and future generations.

“With the support of Northwest Health Foundation and Northwest Area Foundation, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians can embark on a journey to regain a part of its history that we have yet to recognize. We would like to engage our tribal membership unlike we have in the past to provide their input into how we support and meet their needs. We want to pique their level of curiosity and work to rebuild a community of support, caring and unaffected by the ills of dominance.” - CTSI Staff Leadership
